Acts 1:8 calls us to be engaged where we live and among the nations. The people of TJC seek to bring truth, grace, and hope to Lebanon and the surrounding area by mobilizing the church to be salt and light, not only for the city, but for your city. Take part in faithfully and obediently using your gifts to declare God’s glory among those who are hopeless living among you today.
What we do
Development
127 Family Ministry: Providing support to foster and adopted children and the families that care for them.
Classroom Connections: Serving our local schools by assisting teachers, encouraging students, and sharing God’s love in practical ways.
English as a Second Language (ESL): Teaching English, building relationships, and sharing the hope of Christ to internationals in our community.
Neighbor Care
Hearts for the Homeless: Meeting needs, sharing love, and making disciples among those experiencing homelessness.
Mom’s with Hope: Supporting single and underprivileged moms with practical help and the hope of God’s Word.
Serve Saturday: Hands-on service, community care, and sharing Christ monthly on Saturdays.
The Nations Project: Making disciples and connecting with students from around the world at Cumberland University.
Restoration
Disaster Relief: Bringing help and the hope of Jesus when disaster hits.
Anti-Human Trafficking: Bringing freedom and hope to survivors of trafficking.
GriefShare: Offering hope and healing in Christ after loss.
Hope Beyond Incarceration: Bringing hope, restoration, and Christ’s love to those impacted by incarceration.
