For the City Volunteer Roles

Part of our For the City initiative is to see our people sent out into the community and serving with and through our local ministry partners. There are some wonderful opportunities to share the love and kindness of our Savior, Jesus, with our neighbors.

Lunch Volunteer at Byars Dowdy

Description: Our lunchtime volunteers assist students with their various needs like opening packets and drinks for students. You can serve in this role as frequently as you'd like. 

Reading Mentor at Byars Dowdy

Description: Go in 1-2 times per week to assist third graders and teachers with reading.

Rest Stop Ministries Coordinator

Description: We’re looking for a passionate and organized Ministry Leader at TJC who will help mobilize our church family to serve and make an impact through this ministry. The Ministry Leader will play a key role in connecting volunteers with service opportunities, maintaining communication between our ministry partner and those serving, and ensuring alignment with TJC’s vision and values.
