Discipleship Roles

Life Group Leader

Description: Weekly facilitation of a Life Group. You will lead a group of other followers of Jesus through the Life Group Guide, the sermon guide, or another Bible study. Your goal is to make disciples who will grow in the love and knowledge of God, and go and make more disciples.

MDWK Teacher

Description: Lead a MDWK discipleship class. You will teach a group of up to 20 adults in a discipleship topic that you feel knowledgeable and competent. Each MDWK term lasts 8 weeks. Some content may span multiple terms. Content may be provided or developed internally.

Mentor

Description: This individual will disciple other believers at TJC using a two-part curriculum. Mentors will be assigned to adult believers that are scheduled for baptism or on an as needed basis. Mentors will meet with their disciples weekly to help them understand how to follow Jesus.
