Position Type: Part-Time (25 Hours - 9 am to 2 pm on Tuesdays, 10 am to 3 pm - M, W, Th, Fr)
Reports To: Executive Pastor / Administrative Pastor
Key Responsibilities
Church Office Administration
-
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a warm and professional manner

Greet members, guests, and visitors with hospitality

Manage and maintain office equipment, including printers and copiers
-
Coordinate service or repairs for printer as needed
-
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
-
Provide administrative support to pastoral staff and ministry leaders
Supply Ordering
-
Order office and ministry supplies as requested
-
Monitor commonly used supplies and proactively restock
-
Maintain vendor relationships and seek cost-effective purchasing options
Bookkeeping Support
-
Process incoming checks and prepare bank deposits
-
Pay bills and ensure timely vendor payments
-
Assist with basic bookkeeping and financial data entry
-
Maintain accurate records of invoices and receipts
-
Support the Administrative Pastor with routine financial tasks
Human Resources Support
-
Prepare and process new hire paperwork
-
Assist in collecting required employment documentation
-
Help gather employee benefit information
-
Schedule meetings with benefits providers
-
Maintain confidentiality of personnel records
-
Other duties as needed....
Qualifications
-
High school diploma required; associate degree or administrative training preferred
-
Prior administrative or church office experience preferred
-
Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles
-
Proficiency in GoogleSuite and/or church management software
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
